Shot Maker Academy holiday camps are a great way for your child to work on their basketball skills during the school holidays. The camps are a tremendous way to improve skills, make new friends, play lots of games and learn how to function in a team environment.
The programme differs on each day so we encourage your child to attend all three days to maximise your learning experience and skill development.

What to bring to camp
Campers are required to bring their own ball, drink bottle and lunch (if enrolled for full day). Parents are welcome to watch any of the sessions. Doors open 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.

Coach Alex has been the Head Coach for the Harbour Heat National League team as well as various age-group and High School teams in New Zealand. He was the Development Officer at North Harbour Basketball for 5 years and has conducted holiday camps attended by well over 2,000 players in Auckland, Tauranga and Hamilton.
Coach Alby has a tremendous amount of success coaching at the High School level in the Waikato region. He is currently the Head Coach of the Hamilton Boys Juniors who are a perennial power house in the Upper North Island and is also the Head Assistant for the Senior Boys team at Hamilton Boys. Coach Alby conducts regular coaching sessions in the Waikato region helping young players achieve their goals.
Both Coach Alex and Alby place a strong emphasis on character development at all Shot Maker Academy camps. Players will not only develop their basketball skills, but also learn about discipline, humility, respect, teamwork and other qualities necessary to succeed in todays society.
